Raised by the Wizard Merlin, Rowena is frozen alive in a coffin of ice by the evil Morgan-le-Fay. Using the last of his power, Merlin summons The-Lady-of –the-Lake. She decrees that Rowena shall not die – but awake in fifteen hundred years.

13 year-old twins, Kelly and Josh find Rowena and befriend her.

Septimus Crawley, an ageing millionaire, knows of Rowena’s existence and plans to capture and sell her for scientific research. His assistants, Jeremy and Melissa are soon on Rowena’s trail and closing in.

However, Anna Galahad, a descendent of the knight of The Round Table, comes to the children’s aid. Anna rides a Harley Davidson motorbike and is a Karate blackbelt 4th dan.

Rowena? Well she has powers of her own.

As she plunges towards the ground, rather strangely, her speed of falling slows . . .until she has stopped falling altogether.

Now here she is, stuck, floating, face down in mid-air, about a hundred foot above the ground.

Then, a strange bird, wearing a red jacket and a yellow straw hat, arrives to help her.

And so begins the first of the three adventures of Abby & Jackdaw.
