The aim of E-book
IT Press is to
provide short story writers with the opportunity to have their work published
free of charge, (e-books) enabling the author to sell them and reap some reward
from their work.
Ebook IT Press
specialises in publishing, as e-books, professionally writtenshort stories and themed short story
collections: as E-books.
(minimum word count:3,000 for short stories, collections 12,000 words)
E-books are electronic books that can be downloaded to a PC, hand-held
e-book
reader,satnav etc. allowing people to
buy your e-book at a fraction of the cost of hard copy.
Authors sell their books from our online bookstore and receive 40% in
royalties, paid quarterly.
Authors are also able to purchase, in lots of 10, E-Book IT Press Book Tokens at a 60%
discount, which they can sell to their colleagues, friends and acquaintances.
The author’s customers then receive a copy of the ebook, as an email
attachment, directly from E-book IT
Press.
(Obviously e-books purchased with Book Tokens will not be eligible for royalty
payments too.) Self Publish in Print We can also
offer an extremely competitive print publishing for our e-book authors who would also like their books in hard copy.(30 books minimum order.) Printed books will be published under our, Quill
& Ink Books publishing
imprint. We will be happy to supply a no obligation quotation upon request.
For books going into print, E-book
IT Press, will supply the book cover, artwork, book blurb for the back cover and proof edits for a
one off token fee of £10.00 (33p.per book on the first 30 book order. Further batches of the books do not incur this fee.)
Editing:
Submissions should be edited to a professional standard and although we will
conduct a cursory edit free of charge, stories that are in need of radical editing
will be rejected.
In cases where the editor considers the basic storyline is sound the author
will be invited to re-submit their manuscript once it has been correctly
edited.
For those authors who would prefer E-book IT Press to
edit and correct their manuscript, we will do so for a set charge £10.00, which
is payable in advance.
If you can write well and are weary of rejection slips in the
diminishing traditional market for short stories, why file that story away when
